EVENTS

1948: After removing from Chief Minister Ship, Muhammad Ayub Khuhro is prohibited from leaving Pakistan and and drawing amount from Banks without prior permission of the Government. He was accused of creating problems in settling Muhajreen in Sindh.
1950: The Sindh Government has decided to shift Sindh University from Karachi to Hyderabad, says Agha Ghulam Nabi Khan Pathan, Education Minister.
1951: Government orders for arrest of Communist leaders and workers throughout Pakistan.
1952: International Muslim Conference held at Karachi advises Muslim countries to get rid of political and economic influence of U.S.A and U.K
1955: The Governor-General of Pakistan was very much right in dissolving the Constituent Assembly of Pakistan. His action was legal. The Federal Court gives its decision.
1958: Allama Mashrqi is arrested alongwith his close party men.
1960: If Peshawar is used as a base by U.S.A to attack or violate Russian air space, it will cost Pakistan very drastic results, USSR warns Pakistan.
1964: First ever Inter-continental hotel of Pakistan is inaugurated by the President Ayub in Karachi.
1973: Zulfqar Shah Jamot, Khalifo Aqil, Ghous Ali Shah and Pir Muhammad wassan and others are arrested.
