Therefore he wants to establish Department so as to derive profit from the timber and to make Shikargah a great source of revenue. 1851: The Collector Karachi decides for erection ofMarket and with his efforts Empress Market is erected on the place where some revolutionaries were blown up with Cannon in connection with involment in events of 1857. 1920: The Sindh Khilaft Committe sends share of Rs.15000 to Moulana Muhammad Ali Johar through All -India Khilafat Committee. The amount is to be utilized on sending Khilafat Deputations to other countries.
