EVENTS:
1835: On receiving information that Shah Shuja has reached at Bagh in Cutch Gandava, son and nephew of Mir Rustom Khan are visiting Mir Noor Muhammad Khan at Hyderabad with request not to allow Shah Shuja in Sindh. But, they are told that Shah Shuja willbe given respect and will be give passage, and will be not allowed to stay in Sindh more than one day.
1920: No participation in Larkana Khilafat Conference without ticket. 15 thousand tickets has been purchased by people up to 30th January. The Conference will be held next month.
1932: Sindh participates in the Civil Disobedience Movement launched by the Congress. It lasted up to 7.4.1934, with break from 9.5.1933 to 1.8.1933.
1962: The Security Council of the U.N.O asks Dr. Garham to continue for two months his efforts for the setllement of the Kashmir dispute.
1967: U.S Defence Secretary says that China wants to exploit differences between India and Pakistan to weaken and divide Sub - Continent.
1971: PPP Chairman Z. A. Bhutto meets hijackers of the Indian aeroplane. Maqbool Butt, president of Jammu & Kashmir Plebiscite Front, ask Indian Govt. to release his Front members to avoid any drastic action by hijackers of aeroplane.
1978: To avoid any disturbance by Z. A. Bhutto supporters, further trial proceedings of Nawab Muhammad Ahmad murder case to be held in Camera.
1986: MRD rejects registration of Political Parties Scheme.
