1847:
The Resident at Khairpur request for permission from Sindh Commissioner to
approach His Highness Mir Ali Murad Khan to get site out of city for the
construction of Residency at Khairpur. (Source: Letter No. 69 from Resident at

1848: During operation against Bugtis, some arrests are made at Shikarpur and Hyderabad and they are declared as prisoners of war. In Shikarpur, they are handed over to the Collector and Magistrate and in lower Sindh, they are stationed at Tando Ghulam Ali. (Source: Commissioner’s letter No.2437).
1857: A Bengali Birahman informs Government that Regiment No.21 has planned to revolt against the Government at midnight. Search opretion is started soon after the information is received and revolutionaries are arrested. Seth Naumal plays vital role in collecting information about mutiny. 1948: Hyderabad Dakhan losts its independence. It is occupied by India. (Source: History of Dakhan).
1952: The Security Council discusses the membership proposal of Pakistan for U.N.O. (Source: Newspapers).
