Noonh Panhwar (Folklore Poet/ death 15th October 1942). ************* EVENTS: 15th October 1835: Colonel Pottenger deputes Lieutenant Burns to visit Hyderabadi Mirs and direct him that differences between Hyderabadi and Khairpuri Mirs be kept in mind and that situation be availed in the interests of our own government. 1892: The Sindh Commissioner, Evans James chairs the function of the opening ceremony of the building of the Sindh Arts College. The college is renamed today as Dayaram Jethmal Sindh college (D.J.S. college). The actual cost of the construction of the building is Rs.1,86,514 of which the govt. paid Rs.97193. J.Strachan, the Engineer of Karachi Municipality prepared a design for the building. 1939: The Working Committee of the Sindh Provincial Muslim League meets at Karachi to discuss Masjid Manzalgah issue and prepare stratgey for launching movement. 1947: Urdu Journalism starts with 'Jang'. The issue of the paper is published from Karachi with Ghazi Inam Nabi as its editor. 1950: Kazi Muhammad Akbar is disqualified for five years from taking part in politics. 1951: Students will be imparted military training from the coming academic year. Next government in Sindh will be of the Muslim League, says Kazi Fazulullah, Sindh Chief Minister. 1952: India is not happy with the status of minorities in East Bengal. Asks Pakistan Govt. to ensure and protect their rights there. 1955: Portfolios of the first ever One - Unit (West Pakistan) cabinet are notified. Ayub Khuhro gets ministries of Finance, Trade, Industries, Communication, Works and Settlements of migrants. Well paid for task completed. (حوالو: پالنپور جي پوليٽيڪل سپريڊنٽ جو مراسلو نمبر 242). 15.10.1838: اڄ الينگزينڊر برنس پنهنجي گورنر جنرل ڏانھن سندس سيڪريٽرئ معرفت خط لکي ٻڌايو ته ڏکڻ سنڌ ۾ حالتون اسان جي حق ۾ ڪونهن. اتي پاٽينجر به ڏچي ۾ آھي. شڪارپور مان خبرون مليو آھي ته ڪو ايران کان ماڻھو آيل آھي. ميرن هن جي سٺو آڌرڀاء ڪيو آھي. ايتري قدر جو هن جي سوارئ لاء سونن سنجن وارو جانور مهيا ڪيو آھي. 15.10.1858: سنڌ جي ڪمشنر بارٽل فريئر پنهنجي مراسلي نمبر 430 ذريعي ايسٽ انڊيا ڪمپني حڪومت کي ٻڌايو ته اتر سنڌ ۾ مري حڪومت ۽ عوام لاء آزار بڻجي ويا هئا. هاڻي انھن کي مات ڏئي ملڪ جو امن امان بحال ڪيو ويو آهي. 15.10.1892: سنڌ جي ڪمشنر اڄ “سنڌ آرٽس ڪاليج" جي عمارت کولڻ جو مهورت ڪيو. انھئ ڏينھن ڪاليج جو نالو مٽائي "ڊي.جي.سنڌ ڪاليج" رکيو ويو. هن عمارت جي اڏاوت تي 1,86,514 روپيا خرچ آيو, جنھن مان 97193 روپيا سرڪار ڏنا. ڪراچئ ميونسپالٽئ جي انجنيئر جي.اسٽريچن عمارت جي ڊزائن ٺاهي هئي. 15.10.1939: سنڌ صوبائي مسلم ليگ ڪانفرنس جي پڄاڻئ بعد اڄ سنڌ مسلم ليگ جي ورڪنگ ڪميٽئ جي گڏجاڻي ٿي. ان ۾ مسجد منزلگاه بابت تحريڪ هلائڻ جو فيصلو ڪيو ويو ۽ ان لاء حڪمت عملي جوڙي وئي. 15.10.1947: پاڪستان ٺھڻ کان پوء ڪراچئ مان "جنگ" نالي روزاني اردو اخبار جاري ٿي. ان جو ايڊيٽر غازي انعام نبي ٿيو. 15.10.1949: ملڪ سان نئون "اويڪيو پراپرٽي ايڪٽ" لاڳو ڪيو ويو. ان مطابق اويڪيو پراپرٽي حڪومت حوالي نه ڪندڙ لاء سخت سزا رکي وئي. 15.10.1950: قاضي محمد اڪبر کي پنجن سالن لاء سياست ۾ نااهل ڪيو ويو. 15.5.1955: مغربي پاڪستان حڪومت ۾ وزير محمد ايوب کهڙي کي پناهگيرن جي آبادڪارئ جو قلمدان به ڏنو ويو. *************** { 15 آڪٽوبر تي جنم وٺندڙ ۽ وڇڙندڙ ڪجھ شخصيتون *************** [جنم ڏينهن]: 1918ع شاعر کيئل آڏواڻي. 1927ع اداڪاره سرلا جيسنگهاڻي (ڪراچي / ممبئي). 1931ع سائنسدان ۽ ڀارت جو اڳوڻو صدر ڊاڪٽر ابوالڪلام. 1935ع شاعر نادر شاهه فراق (نوابشاهه). 1939ع اسڪالر ڊاڪٽر حيدر ٻرڙو. 1943ع شاعر ۽ ليکڪ غلام مصطفى مشتاق (لاڙڪاڻو). 1959ع سياستدان غلام قادر چانڊيو. 1959ع صحافي ڊاڪٽر اسد انصاري. 1965ع سياستدان صداقت علي جتوئي جو. 1966ع سگهڙ اياز جوڳي. 1968ع شاعر ۽ ليکڪ معشوق ڌاريجو. 1968ع صحافي ارباب چانڊيو (قنبر). 1971ع صحافي ۽ ڪالم نگار اسد چانڊيو. 1973ع شاعر ۽ امرتا ميگزين جي ايڊيٽر فقير محمد ڍول. 1974ع شاعر بابر سڪايل. 1975ع صحافي نظام شيخ. 1978ع صحافي محمد رمضان چوهاڻ (پٿورو). 1978ع شاعر نويد ناز ڀٽي.
