1843: The Governor-General of India sanctions the scale of allowances proposed by Lieutenant Gordon for the maintenance of ex-Sindh Rulers. (Source: Correspondence related to Sindh) 1848: Seth Naumal, who played anti-Sindh role and made it possible for East India Company Government of India to snatch her independence, was discussed by Sir Charles Napier, the first Governor of Sindh; today submits his defense before Captain Young, Judge Advocate-General in Sindh.
