1940: The Board of the Independent Muslims (Azad) Conference meets in
New Delhi

Military Command Punjab Boundary Force is set up to ensure law &

The Government of Pakistan approves the National Anthem written by
Hafiz Jalandhri and composed by Chagla. Sindh’s contribution is visible.
Hafiz Jalandhri had remained Court Poet in Khairpur and Chagla was from
