[The Moon has been sighted and now people are happy that they will celebrate Eid with their nears & dears. The moon is visible with brightness in darkness, and I am encircled with inner and outer darkness, but, my moon is out of sight, here and there. How and when I will celebrate Eid?]
ڏسندي چنڊ پين چمڪي چھرا، چون ڪبیون عیدون پیارن سان،
اماٹیم سوين سلام سرت سان، سڪ مان تان جو ڪانگل کان،
پر نہ ڏٺم يا ٻڌم ڪنھن کان، تہ ڪي اڀريو نکريو چنڊ اسان جو.
