EVENTS FROM SINDH HISTORY

** 1843ع ۾ اڄوڪي تاريخ تي انگريز عملدار سر چارلس نيپيئر پنهنجي ساٿي عملدار ميجرآئوٽرام کي خط لکي آگاهي ڏني ته هو 6 فيبروري تي موري وڃي رهيو آهي، هن کيس وڌيڪ ٻڌايو ته اهي رپورٽون مليون آهن ته مير صوبدار خان اسان جي مخالفن سان گڏجي ويو آهي ۽ سندس وڪيل ان جي تصديق ڪئي آهي، جيڪڏهن مير صوبدار اهڙو عمل ڪيو آهي ته سندس حامي اسان سان گڏجي ويندا. آئون مير علي مراد ۽ مير رستم خان جي عزت ڪريان ٿو.
** 1935ع ۾ اڄوڪي تاريخ تي سر ڪائوسجي ۽ ديوان لالچند نولراءِ انڊين ليجسليٽو اسيمبلي طرفان آئيني سڌارن بابت جوڙيل گڏيل سليڪٽ ڪاميٽي ۾ پنهنجون تجويزون پيش ڪيون، ٻئي ڄڻا ڪيتري ئي عرصي تائين انڊين ليجسليٽو اسيمبلي جا ميمبر رهيا.
** 1965ع ۾ اڄوڪي تاريخ تي آل پارٽيز اسٽوڊنٽس ايڪشن ڪاميٽي ايوب حڪومت کان مطالبو ڪيو ته جيستائين سندن مطالبا منظور نه ڪيا ويندا، تيستائين چئني صوبن ۾ شاگردن جون هڙتالون جاري رهنديون.
** 1969ع ۾ اڄوڪي تاريخ تي ويسٽ پاڪستان جي اپوزيشن پارٽين جي اتحاد ڊيموڪريٽڪ ايڪشن ڪاميٽي پنهنجي هنگامي اجلاس ۾ فيصلو ڪيو ته جيستائين شيخ مجيب الرحمان جا 8 نقطا تسليم نه ڪيا ويندا، تيستائين تحريڪ جاري رهندي.
** 1978ع ۾ اڄوڪي تاريخ تي جمهوري حڪومت کي ختم ڪري اقتدار تي قبضو ڪندڙ جنرل ضياءُالحق مخالف ڌر جي اتحاد پي اين اي جي اڳواڻن سان ٿيل گڏجاڻي ۾ اهو ٻڌايو ته پيپلز پارٽي جي اڳوڻن ايم اين ايز خلاف 89 ريفرنس داخل ڪيا ويا آهن، انهن ايم اين ايز ۾ بيگم نصرت ڀٽو به شامل آهي.
** 1998ع ۾ اڄوڪي تاريخ تي روسي صدر بورس يلسن آمريڪي صدر بل ڪلنٽن کي چتاءُ ڏنو ته جيڪڏهن آمريڪا عراق تي حملو ڪيو ته پوءِ ٽئين عالمي جنگ شروع ٿي سگهي ٿي، عراق تي بم ڪيرائڻ مسئلي جو حل ناهي، آمريڪا کي خبر آهي ته سڄي دنيا ۾ هٿيارن جا ڍير لڳل آهن، ٻئي پاسي آمريڪا روس جي اهڙي چتاءُ باوجود عراق تي حملي جون تياريون شروع ڪري ڇڏيون، 6 هزار فوجين سميت جنگي ٻيڙو روانو ڪيو ويو.

EVENTS
1843: sir Charles Napier in his letter, dispatched to Major Outram writes that:’ Sobdar (Mie) has joined the others, (and I have told his Vakeel that) if I found him and his 5,000 men in the field, I would treat them as enemies. He is afraid of the vaunting chiefs prancing round him…. I respect (Mir) Ali Murad, and (Mir) Roostam’s son and nephew, more than the rest,
they have all taken decided part.’
1927: Shapurji Saklatwalla, the famous Parsi Communist and sitting member of the British House of Commons reaches Karachi from England.
1933: Reviewing the Indian problem, Sir Samuel Hoare says: ‘ We have no intention of abdicating responsibilities and we are certainly shall not report the Irish precedent. While we are prepared to support the cause of Indian Self-Government we are certainly not going to sacrifice British or Imperial interests’.
1934: Bazim-i-Adab, Karachi, organizes poetic sitting at Karachi.
1935: Sir Cowasjee and Diwan Lalchand Nawalrai move their amendments, while participating in debate on the Joint Select Committee’s Report on Indian Constitutional Reforms, in Indian Legislative Assembly.
1948: In UNO Security Council, USA and Argentina support Pakistan’s demand for a neutral administration and impartial plebiscite in Kashmir.
1965: All Parties Students’ Action Committee reiterates its stand that province-wise students’ strike will continue till the acceptance of their demands.
1969: West wing of DCA (Opposition parties) in its extraordinary session at Lahore, decides to continue the struggle till the acceptance of their 8-point demand in Tokyo.
1971: PIA to operate inter-wing flights via Sri Lanka due to Indian’s ban on over flights of Pakistan’s aircrafts.
1978: Eighty- Nine references against PPP ex-MNA’s including Begum Nusrat Bhutto are filled in tribunal.
1990: MQM blames PPP Government for Hyderabad riots.
1995: Twenty people die in Karachi.
