1832: The Government of Bombay intimates Colonel Pottenger of: A), appointment of Lieutenant Colonel Litchfield to the command of the expedition against Tharparkar, B) Vesting Colonel Pottenger with general political superintendence and management of expedition and measures consequent on its termination, C) Directing that Lieutenant William Pottenger should accompany the expedition in civil capacity and afford to Lieutenant Litchfield advantage of his experience and knowledge of Sindh Auxiliaries. 1842: Ross Bell, who played a vital role in favour of his Government in upper Sindh, is dead. His death is reported to the Government of India by Lieutenant Brown. (Source: Brown’s letter No.2072).
1857: Assistant Commissioner for Jageers furnishes the detailed report to the SindhCommissioner on : A) Gemological tree of the Shahdadanees, Shahwanees, Khananees, and Manikaness, B) Roll of every member or professed member of the four great Talpur families holding alienated land in Sindh but not included in the list of members recommended for Sardariship or special promotion. 1901: The Larkano District comes into existence. New District is formed out of Karachi and Shikarpur districts. (Source: Sindh Official Gazette).
1920: It is a day of turning point in the politics of the united India. Congress and Khilafat have decided to launch Non-Co-Operation Movement against the British Government of India. The movement starts today and lasted up to 12th of February 1922. It was the longest political struggle. Today, ‘Third Khilafat Day’ is observed in the length and breadth of Sindh. More than hundred branches of Khilafat Tahrik and about fifty branches of Congress took processions, held public meetings and pledged to get rid of slavery. 1948: Beginning of deterioration of history starts in Pakistan. Lahore Corporation sets example. Minto Park is renamed as Iqbal Park. (Source: Newspapers).
1950: Special Board is constituted by the Government to resolve problems of Indian Muslim migrants presently living in Sindh. The are to be rehabilitate properly. The Prime Minister is taking personal interest in the matter. (Source: ibd).
1951: It is hearing of the Rawalpindi Conspiracy Case today. Cross questioning from the witness, by the Advocate Lari starts. (Source: ibd).
1953: Lieutenant Colonel Iskandar Mirza is promoted as an honourary Major General. (Source: ibd).
1955: The Government of Pakistan with ‘approval’/instructions of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) re-fixes the par value of the Pakistani Rupee. The new parity is 0.186621 grams of fine gold per rupee or rupee 4.76190 per U.S dollar. (Source: ibd).

1857: The Collector of Upper Sindh request Sindh Commissioner for approval and sanction of the construction of a cause way at Rohri.                I was pleased to learn about the history of my ancestors at your project's site when i visited it few days back .Iam deeply indebted to you for making this thing as part of your project Iam Pushpendra Singh Sodha from Barmer Rajsthan.

 I wish to mention that my entire family which was one of the influential families of Pak till 1971 migrated to India just before war.My forefathers were the members of legislative assembly Bombay later Sindh since the begning of nineteen century.

Your project site displays the names of my grandfather notably Akhji Ratan Singh Sodha from Chachro  distric erstwhile Tharparkar as the  then president of aman Sabha as being mentioned by you that the organization was formed by the upper class sindhis so i hereby ask you few basic things regarding them 

1.Details of the organisation such as when and why it was formed ?

2.Duration of Akhji Sodha and role played by the same for  strengthening the outfit? 

3 Any further information regarding him as he was an active politician of that era

4 Photographs or any such material and  books which shows the history of Chachro    and then sodha family

5.The legends of Lalji Akhji Sodha and particularly his son Laxman singh Sodhas are very famous>any such material or book references of the same

6.Any material and history source about the  sodha family of Chachro

 جائزو وٺي ان جي سينيٽيريم فٽنيس رپورٽ موڪلي وڃي، بعد ۾ سپرنٽينڊنگ سرجن ڊاڪٽر هنٽر پنهنجي رپورٽ ڪمشنر وٽ جمع ڪرائي.
** 1901ع ۾ اڄوڪي تاريخ تي انگريز سرڪار پاران بمبئي روينيو ڪوڊ جي قلم 7 تحت نوٽيفڪيشن جاري ڪري لاڙڪاڻو ضلعو قائم ڪيو ويو، نوٽيفڪيشن تي بمبئي حڪومت جي چيف سيڪريٽري جي وي پي ميڪنزي جي صحيح ٿيل هئي.
** 1919ع ۾ اڄوڪي تاريخ تي انگريز وائسراءِ پنهنجي اتحادين جي هڪ تقريب ڪوٺائي، جنهن ۾ لاڙڪاڻي جي پنڊت پنچنداس شيوالا ۽ شهدادپور جي پيرو مل شرڪت ڪئي ۽ بمبئي حڪومت کي مبارڪباد ڏني.
** 1921ع ۾ اڄوڪي تاريخ تي حيدرآباد ضلعي جي ڪانگريس ڪاميٽي ضلعي جي مختلف اسڪولن جي شاگردن کان اسڪالر شپ لاءِ درخواستون گهرائي ورتيون، ڪانگريس ڪاميٽي طرفان ڄاڻايو ويو ته ٽن شاگردن کي في شاگرد 15 رپيا ڏنا ويندا ته جيئن اهي عليڳڙهه يونيورسٽي ۽ گجرات وديا پٿ ۾ تعليم حاصل ڪري سگهن.
** 1943ع ۾ اڄوڪي تاريخ تي سنڌ ۾ مسلم ليگ جي سڏ تي واپار جو ڏهاڙو ملهايو ويو، جنهن ۾ ڪيترن ئي واپارين شموليت ڪئي.
** 1946ع ۾ اڄوڪي تاريخ تي سنڌ جي پي ڊبليو ڊي جي وزير محمد ايوب کهڙي ڪراچي جي ڊي جي سنڌ ڪاليج ۾ سنڌ جي سياست جي عنوان هيٺ ليڪچر ڏنو، اهو پروگرام شيخ عبدالمجيد سنڌي طرفان منعقد ڪرايو ويو هو.
** 1993ع ۾ اڄوڪي تاريخ تي مخالف ڌر حڪومت خلاف لانگ مارچ ملتوي ڪري ڇڏيو، ذريعن جو چوڻ هو ته مخالف ڌر جي اڳواڻ بينظير ڀٽو اسلام آباد ۾ صدر غلام اسحاق خان ۽ آرمي چيف عبدالوحيد ڪاڪڙ سان ملاقاتون ڪرڻ بعد لانگ مارچ ملتوي ڪيو، بينظير ڀٽو کي خاطري ڪرائي وئي ته قومي اسيمبلي ٽوڙي چئني صوبن ۾ غيرجانبدار نگران حڪومتون جوڙيون وينديون، ان کانپوءِ شفاف چونڊون ٿينديون، اهڙي خاطري تي بينظير ڀٽو وزيراعظم نواز شريف خلاف لانگ مارچ تان هٿ کڻي وئي، ان کان اڳ پ پ اڳواڻ فاروق لغاري صدر غلام اسحاق خان سان ملاقات ڪئي ۽ صدر جو پيغام کڻي لاهور آيو، جتي هن بينظير ڀٽو کي صورتحال کان آگاهه ڪيو. ذريعن اهوبه چيو ته وزيراعظم نوازشريف اسيمبلي ٽوڙڻ لاءِ صدر کي ايڊوائيس موڪلڻ تي راضي ٿي ويو آهي.
