ڪجھ واقعا

22.11.1838:
فرنگين لفٽيننٽ چارلس کان سنڌ جي ساحلي پٽئ جي سروي ڪرائي. اسان جي حڪمرانن کي نه سروي جو پتو ۽ نه فرنگين جي سازشن جي ڪن جن! چارلس پنهنجو ڪم پورو ڪري واپس ورڻ وارو ھئو ته پاٽينجر پنهنجئ سرڪار کي چيو ته چارلس کي ان وقت تائين واپس نه گهرايو, جيسيتائين فرنگي فوج سنڌ ۾ پهچي. ڇو ته فوج ليفٽيننٽ چارلس جي تجربي ۽ مشاهدي مان گهڻو لاڀ پرائي سگهندي.
اڄ پاٽينجر ممبئ جي ميشرس فرٿ ائنڊ ڪمپنئ کي به لکيو ته اندروني سنڌ ۾ شڪارپور تائين حالتون اسان جي حق ۾ نه آھن. ان ڪري پنهنجو مال توکي هوشياري سان آڻڻو پوندو. سنڌي جيڪڏهن ڦريندا نه ته بي عزتو ضرور ڪندئي.
22.11.1926:
ڪراچئ جي ٿياسافيڪل هال ۾ 110 عورتن جي گڏجاڻي ٿي, جن ۾ حاجي عبدالله هارون, بنده علي قاسم ۽ اين.ڊي.ملڪ جون ونيون ذڪر لائق آھن. گڏجاڻئ ۾ سرڪار کان مطالبو ڪيو ويو ته سنڌ ۾ ڇوڪرن ۽ ڇوڪرين جا گڏيل تعليمي ادارا هلايا وڃن, ميوزڪ ۽ طبعي تربيت کي ڪورس ۾ شامل ڪيو وڃي.
22.11.1927:
ڪمشنر جي اڳواڻئ ۾ سنڌ ۾ "نيچرل هسٽري سوسائٽي" قائم ڪئي وئي. هن سوسائٽئ ڪيترا سال سنڌ جي نيچرل هسٽرئ تي ڪم ڪيو. سوسائٽئ طرفان رسالو به جاري ڪيو ويو ۽ اهي سمورا رسالا گل حيات ۾ محفوظ آھن. ڪاش ڪنهن کي جوش ۽ هوش اچي ته انھن رسالن جو مواد ڪتابي صورت ۾ ڇپرائي.
22.11.1935:
هن وقت ملڪي ڪرڪيٽ ۾ سنڌين جو نالو نشان به ڪونهي. پر ماضئ ۾ سنڌين هن راند ۾ دنيا ۾ نالو ڪمايو.
اڄ ڪراچئ ۾ سنڌ ۽ آسٽريليا وچ ۾ ڪرڪيٽ مئچ ٿي. سنڌ ٽيم جو ڪپتان غلام محمد هئو. راند مهمان ٽيم کٽي. انھئ مئچ جو تفصيل يوٽيوب تي به موجود آھي.
22.11.1948:
پاڪستان جي وزير اعظم ڍاڪا ۾ تقرير ڪندي چيو ته پاڻ کي پٺاڻ, پنجابي, بلوچ ۽ بنگالي سڏرائڻ بدران پاڪستاني سڏايو.
22.11.1963:
ٽنڊي ڄام ۾ ”ايٽامڪ انرجي ايگريڪلچر سينٽر" جو افتتاح ڪيو ويو.
22.11.1971:
انڊيا اڄ اوڀر پاڪستان ۾ ڀرپور جنگ جو آغاز ڪيو.
22.11.1983:
صدر ضياء الحق اعلان ڪيو ته نه تڪڙيون چونڊون ٿينديون ۽ نه وري گول ميز ڪانفرنس ڪري سياستدانن سان ڪي ڳالهيون ٿينديون.

1838: Colonel Pottenger requests Lieutenant Chales, commanding the Court's Surveying Brigade, not to leave coast of Sindh until the arrival of the British troops as his experience and study will be very useful for troops.
He also advises Messrs Firth & Co, Bombay not to bring his goods into the interior of Sindh and do not proceed to Shikarpur because it would expose him to the risk of being insulted, if not plundered.
1926: The meeting of ladies is held in Theosophical of Karachi. This meeting of more than 110 ladies support co - education, demand teaching of English at Secondary level, including Music and Physical training in the scheme of education. Mrs. Haji Abdullah Haroon, Mrs. Bandhali Kasim and Mrs. N.D. Mallik play vital role in meeting
1927: The Sindh Natural History Society is formed with Commissioner as its president.
1935: Cricket match is played between Austrelia and Sindh at Karachi. Sindh Team is headed by Ghulam Muhammad. The match is won by guest team.
1948: Do not bracket yourself as Sindhis, Punjabis, Bengalis, Pathan or Balochi. Be Pakistani and behave like Pakistanis, asks people, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Liaquat Ali Khan, in Dhaka Public meeting.
1963: Atomic Energy Agriculture Centre at Tandojam is inaugurated.
1971: India launches an all - out offensive against East Pakistan.
1983: No resumption of political activities in near future, no need of any round table conference, says CMLA Zia.

Having reported on my visit to the Gul Hayat Institute, I can confirm that
the International Institute of social History (IISH) has been impressed by the
considerable efforts made by the Gul Hayat Institute (GHI) over the past eight
years in preserving valuable historical material on Sindh society.
IISH realizes that you and your family have sacrificed much for the realization
of this archive in the village of Khair Muhammad Arija.
IISH considers it important that such work should be facilitated in the future. In
this spirit, we would like to suggest that GHI and IISH be affiliated to each
other. The purpose of this affiliation is to help ensure that material on the
history of Sindh and other parts of Pakistan be conserved for future
generations. IISH is looking forward to co-operation with GHI in the exchange
of information and in other ways that may be of mutual benefit.
We trust that this affiliation will lead to a strengthening of the GHI as well as to
more scholarly interest in the history of Sindh at the IISH. To this end, we invite
